Personally know that this works, Used it myself.

For those who don't want to watch video here are the steps,

go here, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion copy the BattlEye folder,

then go C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead and paste it.

wait a few minutes, start the game and go through all the prompts then game should start, mine did.
